My Mission
I will help you get rid of the excess and make some money back for your items.
The brief summary! I will take your items, price and sell. I will pay you 70% of your total sales. Sales will be in person at pop up events, or online via a local resale page. See full details below.
1. All seasons ok, items must be current. Current means something that is currently in fashion, on the shelves of stores, or timeless (for example a blue linen button down top). I will resell vintage if it is a designer label. Happy to discuss what this means further with you!
2. All items should be new with tags (NWT), new without tags (NWOT), or excellent used condition (EUC). I will not accept items that are stained, pilled, faded or has flaws.
3. All items should be higher ends brands. Think Nordstrom brands and higher. Examples of higher end brands are Sezane, BA&SH, Pistola, Paige, Clare V, Agolde, Veronica Beard, Aritzia, The Row, The Great, Zimmerman, Toteme, Reformation, ulla Johnson, Lafayette 148, Staud, Marine Layer, Madewell, & Other Stories, Frame, Max Mara, Khaite, Ralph Lauren, COS, Aviator Nation, Tuckernuck, Farm Rio, Lululemon, Alo, Varley etc.
4. No work-wear. This means no pant suits, skirt suits, shift dresses, silky blouses etc. I will accept blazers from high end brands like Veronica Beard, Theory etc.
5. Only women’s clothing, no toys or kids/men clothing.
6. I photograph, post and arrange pickup and payment with buyers if doing an online sale, if doing a pop-up, I will have all clothes out on racks.
7. I keep 30% of the total sales and transfer 70% to you.
8. No occasion wear ( e.g. fancy wedding guest dresses), no skinny jeans, no outdated looks.
9. Clothing that sells best is casual easy to wear everyday clothing, designer labels and high end athleasure (Lululemon, Alo, Vuori, etc.)
10. I am accepting all seasons, but just consider that the current season will sell best!
11. All unsold clothing becomes property of me unless seller picks up by agreed upon date.
12. All prices set by me unless seller and I agree upon a price ahead of sale.
13. All sales final.
14. Clothing is received as is. I am not able to steam or press items. Please bring items to me as you would like them to be sold.
15. Items will be dropped off by seller with me in Oak Park, or pickup can be arranged for a $25 fee.
16. Items chosen to be sold are at my discretion.
Closet Edit Option add on…
Just a fancy way of saying, clear out! We go through everything, and I mean that….everything! This is a multi-step process, including pre-edit questionnaire ,clear out, and resale. $150/hr
Shopping/Styling add on
Now that you have cleared out the clutter, and figured out what you have left, it’s time to figure out WHO you are. We have all had a past and present in fashion…but what is the future? What is the difference between fashion and style? What are your clothes saying about you? Are you excited to try new things but are scared to wear them? Why? Let’s work together to figure out what your style is, and how we can achieve this look without buying into trends or tropes about age, status and gender. During our shopping trip(s) we discuss styling, and how we can incorporate your current closet with your new purchases. $150/hr
Seasonal wardrobe refresh, vacation, holiday - Add on
Lets work together to build the perfect vacation wardrobe, find the best holiday party dress, or update your closet for the next season. Maybe you’re going back to work, starting to work from home, or have a new life activity. We will discuss your needs and then find perfect pieces to fill in the gaps. $150/hour
Custom packages
Assisting with estates, multi person packages, & children’s wardrobes are other services available. If there is something you are interested in that you don’t see here, I will talk through your needs with you. $150/hour
